Current status
Google AdSense advertising is optional. Its script loads only after you allow advertising. Google and its partners may then use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, personalize and measure ads and prevent fraud. The map uses browser storage for your privacy choice, preferences and saved walkpath recordings.
The cookie banner is included because the site must obtain clear, informed consent before any non-essential cookie or tracking tool is added. Necessary storage is kept separate from optional analytics.
What is stored
| Storage | Purpose | Choice / control |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary browser storage | Stores your versioned privacy choice, including whether advertising is allowed. | Always available for this preference; clear site data in your browser to remove it. |
| Google AdSense | Optional advertising, ad measurement and fraud prevention. Google and its partners may use cookies and device information. | Off until you allow advertising. Withdraw through Privacy choices; remove existing cookies in browser settings. See Google’s cookie information for cookie purposes and lifetimes. |
| Optional analytics | Not installed or active. | Disabled in the current settings panel. Do not add a provider without updating the policy and obtaining opt-in consent. |
Consent and withdrawal
You can allow or decline advertising and change your choice later. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop loaded advertising code; it does not remove cookies already stored by Google. This site’s control opens the current settings panel. Clearing site data also removes the stored choice.
Third-party content
The viewer has a link to OpenStreetMap’s copyright page and local copies of its 3D/runtime assets. A link is not an embed, but the external site may process a visit after you select it. Google AdSense is loaded after your advertising opt-in. See Google’s partner-site privacy information.
Before adding analytics or embeds
- Document the provider, cookies or equivalent identifiers, purposes, retention, transfers, and opt-out method.
- Load non-essential code only after a specific opt-in, and do not bundle consent with general terms.
- Update the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, vendor list, consent record, and security review.
- Re-check whether the provider creates an international transfer or requires a data-processing agreement.
