Operator details are incomplete: the legal name, address, contact details, governing-law choice, and any official University authorization must be inserted before these terms are relied on in a public commercial service.
1. Operator and independent status
Operator: Site operator to be confirmed. This prototype is independent and is not an official University of Ilorin service unless the operator has written authorization. University names, logos, marks, and official materials remain with their respective owners.
2. What the service provides
The viewer provides a visual campus context, searchable mapped places, and route previews. It is free to use in this version. No booking, payment, admission decision, transport service, emergency service, or official campus announcement is provided.
3. Important accuracy and safety limits
- The 3D model and place names are approximate, OSM-derived or operator-provided, and may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, or wrong.
- Routes are approximate walking aids for student orientation. They are not turn-by-turn navigation, surveying, construction, accessibility, security, evacuation, or emergency guidance.
- Opening hours, entrances, hazards, road conditions, step-free access, and building use are not verified by this viewer.
- Confirm current information with official University sources and on-site staff. Do not use this site as a substitute for signage, safety instructions, or emergency services.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the public viewer lawfully for personal, educational, and research purposes. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its availability, attempt unauthorized access, scrape personal data, misrepresent the site as official, or use its approximate map as the basis for a safety-critical or commercial decision without independent verification and permission.
5. Intellectual property and attribution
OpenStreetMap data is attributed in the viewer and licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). Additional building-footprint data is accompanied by Microsoft’s CDLA Permissive 2.0 notice. Three.js is bundled under its own license. The repository contains no public raster photographs in the viewer. Any later photograph, logo, Google Earth-derived material, or University content requires documented permission or a suitable licence before publication.

6. External links
Links to third-party sites are provided for reference. The operator does not control those sites, their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms. A third-party site may collect data when you open it.
7. Changes and availability
The operator may change, suspend, or remove the viewer, data, routes, or links. Reasonable effort may be used to keep it available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised.
8. Liability and non-excludable rights
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the viewer is provided on an “as available” basis and the operator is not responsible for decisions made from unverified map information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, remedies, or duties that the law does not permit the operator to exclude or limit, including rights under applicable Nigerian consumer-protection law.
9. Governing law and complaints
To be confirmed before launch: insert the operator’s applicable governing law, venue, and complaint contact. Nigerian consumers may have rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 where a paid product or service is supplied; a blanket waiver of statutory rights is not intended.
